DAY 3: I can't 'Shout'!

Okay, i was at LUTH today (Wednesday, 20th) as agreed with the Doctors after getting the Airline fitness form and Yellow card from the local government. We were told they have to run some tests over again one of which was a blood test to certify blood volume and some ECO test (main heart stuff). The ECO test is not done in LUTH and we were referred. This would cost about N30,000 given
the amount that was paid for the last one. The blood test was done today and filed. Not like i dispute doing the tests again but i'd just ask why now? I thought the doctors in India would still do a full diagnosis...'I dunno o'


The issue now is that it doesn't seem possible anymore to get the medical report and letter from both LUTH and India by early Thursday morning. This means they cannot get to the embassy relatively meaning they cannot get their visas by Friday and this would also mean they would be stuck in the country for another weekend. The major problem lies in the fact the the consultant and doctors would (probably, i'm still working on it) only 'have time' for the case on Tuesday next week which is their clinic day. If that happens and i'm successful with the report and all, they'll leave next week friday....that seems too far too me plus i have another issue.


I graduated 2 years ago and haven't served, personal reasons though. I finally bowed to pressure especially from my parents and promised i'd serve. Orientation camp opens on Monday 2nd of July which would be the earliest time i would be available in school should Baby Kelechi's case go the way i just described and i haven't collected my statement of result and call-up letter. I don't even want to anticipate what it would look like if i don't serve with this batch. More importantly, i am pressed to get Baby Kelechi out of the country before friday next week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday doesn't sound like a bad idea to me and that's why i need your help in anyway. You might know somebody that knows somebody that can help.
