This is about the 10th line i would type before
resolving not to delete it again. Just as i was dumbfounded when the bank
alerts where coming in, my hands are equally freezing while trying to type this
at the thoughts of what you have done to help this cause. I don’t know what to
say, i don’t know how to start and THANK YOU would certainly not be enough. I
knew what i wanted to achieve when i started this, i am a tech person so i knew
how to handle this and anticipated how far it could go but there is a different
feeling seeing dreams come true. It’s hard to explain.
I am going to publish the names of everybody that
donated...from as little as N500 to as much as N300,000. The Bank statements
did not capture your full names and some even wrote anonymous or heart surgery
or baby Kelechi. This shows that a lot of you gave with your hearts and i can’t
be thankful enough. It’s a long list so i’m going to put them up gradually.
MY SPECIAL ‘THANK YOU’s’
Before i do this, i want to let everyone know that we do
appreciate every payment, tweet, facebook like and broadcast messages on BBM
and other chat apps. The original idea was to make people give as low as 100
naira while we work up the numbers. We are even more grateful to those who went
that extra mile just to make sure their names where included with as little as
N500...God sees all and trust me when i say your reward begins from here on
earth
These thanks go to some very inspiring set of Nigerians. Not
all names are full and most made payment without even calling me.
- Adeola (Paid at Oba Akran) - N200,000
- Adeola - N300,000
- Inemesit - N60,000
- Tolulope (Via WorldRemit) - N74,410
- Anonymous - N50,000
- Francis - N50,000
If your name is not of the list, pls fret not. This isn’t
the entire list and like i said i would put them up gradually. A big thanks you
the two ‘Adeolas’ and other who where big donors.
You should know that we raised N1.14 million in five days
and that is a remarkable achievement that wouldn’t have been possible without every
single one of you involved.
I’d write again,
God Bless.
